Can i plug my mp3 player into my car?

Whether we are driving to and back from work every day or longer distances at the weekend, we all need some music in the car. Who can live without music? Some cars are provided with MP3 player systems but they are the newest models and not anyone is ready to throw away his or her car and get another one with that option.

So what are the chances of the owner of an older car to plug an MP3 player into the vehicle?

Some say the best way to do that is to acquire an aux input adaptor. The wired FM mod plugs into the radio where the antenna is and the antenna plugs into the modulator. There is a switch that allows you to cut off the signal from the radio so you can listen to the player and flip back for the radio. The wireless variant that is also available is said to be less reliable.

There are also several CD Decks available with an auxiliary built into them and they are not all expensive. If you really need good-quality music in your car, a better option would be to go for such a device; in this way you can kill two birds with one stone: you will have a better sounding radio and be able to listen to your favorite CDs in the car.

A less recommendable option is that of doing a cassette-tape adaptor that can be plugged in to the headphone jack of the MP3 player; however, they say the quality of the sound is not what you would expect.
